The Procurement Engineer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing equipment, materials, and services required for oil and gas projects. The role involves ensuring that all procured items meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and specifications.
• Monitor and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
