We are currently seeking a Procurement Engineer with expertise in sourcing cranes, boom trucks, and other heavy machinery for our growing equipment rental company.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure heavy machinery and equipment including cranes, boom trucks, loaders, and related assets.
Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor relationships.
Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and deployment of equipment.
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company standards and budgets.
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements:
Proven experience in procurement or sourcing, specifically in heavy equipment or machinery.
Strong knowledge of suppliers and manufacturers in the construction and industrial equipment sectors.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Engineering or technical background preferred.
