We are looking for Procurement & Stores Manager with Aramco experience.
Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years procurement experience including at least 3 years as procurement Manager.
• At least two years’ experience in warehouse administration and control.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing training and guidance as needed.
• Provide Guidance and support to Project Procurement staff
• Reviews work produced by subordinates to ensure that applicable codes, standards, and procedures are followed, and that quality of procured items meets or exceeds requirements
• Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
• Monitor and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid shortages.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on sourcing and supplier selection.
• Track and analyse key procurement metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
• Manage supplier relationships and conduct regular supplier performance evaluations as required by ISO quality Management System.
• Actively participate in the Company’s Quality Improvement Process.
• Develop a partnership agreement where supplier quality and performance are consistent with Company and client requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and ethical standards in procurement activities. Also ensure compliance with the Company’s business ethics policy and with the Conflict-of-Interest Policy
• Participates in establishing and maintaining Procurement Department policies and procedures, working closely with management
• Provide guidance and Management leadership to the Warehouse personnel.
• Ensure adherence to material receiving and issuing procedures
• Ensure housekeeping and Safety guidelines are implemented and followed
• Carry out periodic inventory to audit stock levels.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business Administration /Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Certification in Procurement Management will be an advantage.
