Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with strong experience in the design of Overhead Power Lines (OHPL) for ARAMCO projects. The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical knowledge, a deep understanding of ARAMCO standards, and hands-on experience in preparing material take-offs, design packages, and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Design overhead power line systems (up to 380kV) in compliance with ARAMCO and SEC standards.

Prepare and review material take-offs (MTOs), BOQs, and technical specifications.

Develop engineering design packages, including route selection, pole design, conductor sizing, grounding, and clearances.

Coordinate with procurement and construction teams for proper material selection and delivery.

Review and verify vendor documents and shop drawings for electrical equipment and systems.

Interface with clients, especially ARAMCO engineering teams, for technical clarifications and approvals.

Ensure compliance with SAES, SATIP, and SAEP procedures.

Conduct site visits when needed to validate design applicability and resolve technical issues.

Support project managers and planners with technical input during project execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s is a plus).

Minimum 7 years of experience in OHPL design, with at least 3 years in ARAMCO projects.

Proficient in AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, ETAP, and related engineering tools.

Strong knowledge of ARAMCO standards, specifications, and design workflows.

Experience with material take-off, procurement support, and technical submittals.

Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

ARAMCO-approved or certified Electrical Engineer.

PMP or similar project management certification.

Experience with underground cable routing and duct bank design is a plus.
