Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join the projects team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in design review, site supervision, electrical systems installation, testing, commissioning, and coordination with consultants and contractors on high-profile government or cultural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve electrical designs, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements submitted by contractors and consultants.

Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local codes, and international standards.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and progress of electrical works.

Coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and client representatives.

Support in resolving technical issues related to electrical works on-site.

Ensure all electrical systems are energy-efficient, sustainable, and aligned with the requirements.

Assist in preparing progress reports, inspection logs, and quality control documentation.

Attend project meetings and provide technical input on electrical design and execution.

Ensure all activities are in accordance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably on government, cultural, or large-scale infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.

Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Codes, IEC, NFPA, and other relevant international standards.

Experience with lighting design, power distribution, low current systems, and energy management systems is preferred.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software is an advantage.

Strong site supervision and project coordination skills.

Good communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a mandatory.

Transferable Iqama (if applicable) and readiness to join within a short notice period is preferred.

Collaborative work environment with multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
