Job Opportunity: Mechanical & Plumbing (M&P) Engineer – Yanbu Project
We are currently seeking to rent a qualified Mechanical Engineer with expertise in Mechanical & Plumbing (M&P) works for our ongoing project in Yanbu.
Location: Yanbu, Saudi Arabia
Duration: 6 Months
Joining: Immediate
Role Overview:
The M&P Engineer will oversee all Mechanical and Plumbing works on site, ensuring coordination, quality control, and timely execution in alignment with project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Shop Drawing Review & Approval: Approve non-critical shop drawings.
Execution Coordination: Liaise with contractors and clients for smooth M&P execution.
Installation Supervision: Ensure M&P system installations comply with specs and codes.
Interdisciplinary Coordination: Align work with E&I and Civil teams.
Task Monitoring: Supervise daily work, manage schedules, and resolve site issues.
Technical Problem Solving: Address M&P challenges effectively.
Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Ensure timely procurement and mobilization.
Progress Updates: Provide regular reports to clients.
Timeline Tracking: Monitor M&P activities and flag delays or risks.
Compliance Review: Validate construction against IFC drawings.
QA/QC Inspections: Oversee material and installation inspections.
Testing Oversight: Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and QA/QC testing.
HSE Compliance: Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years' experience in M&P supervision
Solid understanding of QA/QC, HSE, and site coordination
