Requirements:
*Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
*Candidate should be a Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership and approved electrical engineer.
*Candidate should have a minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in the construction of H.V. substations with an emphasis on GIS, power transformers, MV Switch gear, protection, SAS, testing commissioning and utilities work; including five (5) years in senior management positions on multidiscipline projects.
*Candidate shall have extensive knowledge of protection and circuit control is preferred.
*Candidate should previously have experience of managing 380KV BSP or Higher voltage level Substation Construction in Saudi Arabia or GCC. Complete electrical installation, cable schedule testing and commissioning.
*Candidate shall have complete knowledge of schematic diagrams of EHV Substation equipment.
*Candidate should have experience of managing testing and commissioning of projects is mandatory.
*Candidate should have certified experience in engineering/construction projects, and five (5) years in site development/utilities projects of a similar size (380KV or above) to this contract with previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is preferable.
*Candidate shall have a proven track record of handling subcontractors and multinational work forces. Experience with project management computer software such as Primavera or MS projects.
*Candidate shall be fluent in written and spoken English.
*Candidate shall have sound experience in HV Substation from conception to handing over is mandatory.
*Candidate holding SEC approval as project manager is preferred or approval from any other designated organization in GCC is also acceptable.
*Candidate shall have previous work experience with job responsibilities as project manager for at least two EHV/HV projects.
*Candidate must have a valid transferable Iqama.
