Are you a highly skilled Safety Engineer with an electromechanical engineering background and a strong focus on MEP projects? We are a leading Saudi contracting company specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works, and we are looking for a dedicated Safety Engineer to join our team on-site near Madinah.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing all health and safety measures with a specialized focus on the integrated mechanical and electrical systems of our projects. You'll ensure the highest safety standards are met, preventing accidents and maintaining a safe working environment in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and enforce robust health and safety plans specifically tailored for integrated mechanical and electrical works.

Conduct detailed risk assessments and site inspections, focusing on combined electromechanical hazards, equipment safety, and system commissioning.

Lead accident investigations, with a particular emphasis on electromechanical incidents, to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

Provide specialized safety training to site personnel on both mechanical and electrical safety topics.

Ensure all electromechanical installations and equipment comply with local and international safety standards.

Maintain accurate safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection findings.

Promote a strong and proactive safety culture among all site staff and contractors.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 03 years of experience as a Safety Engineer, with a proven track record on MEP projects within the contracting industry.

Possession of relevant and industry-recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH (IGC/Diploma), IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent.

In-depth knowledge of both mechanical and electrical safety codes and standards.

Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.

Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).

Must be willing to be based on-site near Madinah.
