Job Title: Project Engineer – Road Works
Location: Qiddiya, Riyadh
Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager
Position Summary
The Project Engineer – Road Works will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating road infrastructure projects from planning through execution. The role involves ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedules, while maintaining effective communication among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress and prepare accurate, timely technical reports
- Ensure all works are executed in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and construction schedules
- Coordinate activities with site engineers, QA/QC teams, subcontractors, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth project execution
- Follow up on Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), materials delivery, and ensure proper documentation is maintained
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid delays
- Assist in preparing method statements, risk assessments, and project documentation as required
- Support the Project Manager in resource planning, scheduling, and reporting
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7–10 years of proven experience in infrastructure and road construction projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Primavera P6, and MS Office applications
- Strong technical, coordination, and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems
