We are looking for a Welding Engineer
Job Summary: Provide a high level of experienced welding engineering support for company projects and personnel. Ensuring that all project welding related deliverables are maintained on schedule and to the highest quality.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/engineering Company dealing with pressure vessels, heat exchangers, drums, storage tanks, reactors, etc.
Role and Responsibilities.
1. Review of Contract Documents for Identification welding control requirements Development of WPSs and PQRs as necessary.
2. Prepare Weld Plan/ Weld Map / welding consumables control procedures in accordance with the applicable quality system standards and or Contractual specification requirements.
3. Monitor/ Surveillance welding activities comply.
4. Prepare the WPS, Conduct the PQR Test, Witness the WQTR and Coordinate with 3rd Party and client representative.
5. Record / Monitor the welder performance and welder repair rate.
6. Qualification of welders as per code requirements and client requirements
7. Inspects welded joints and conducts tests to ensure welds meet company standards, national code requirements, and client job specifications.
8. Calibration and control of welding Monitoring & Measuring Equipment. Arranging calibration and updating their calibration status.
9. Obtain approval of WPS/PQR/WQT as applicable from Clients / Third Party.
Work Location: Jubail, KSA
