Document Controller – HSE (Aramco Approved)
Job Summary:
To manage and control all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) documentation for the project in accordance with Saudi Aramco standards and contractual requirements. Ensure proper control, distribution, and archiving of HSE-related documents to maintain compliance with Aramco, ISO, and company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Document Management & Control
o Maintain and control all HSE documents, including procedures, reports, permits, risk assessments, and audit records.
o Ensure documents are prepared, reviewed, approved, distributed, and archived according to Aramco and company document control procedures.
o Manage document transmittals and submittals via Aramco-approved systems (e.g., SAP, Sharek, or Documentum).
2. Compliance with Aramco Standards
o Ensure all HSE documentation meets Saudi Aramco General Instructions (GI) and relevant standards.
o Track revisions and ensure only current, approved versions are available for use.
3. Coordination & Communication
o Liaise with HSE team, construction team, and client representatives to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
o Coordinate with Aramco for document reviews, approvals, and audits.
4. Reporting & Records
o Maintain a master log/register for all HSE documents, including inspection reports, incident reports, and corrective action records.
o Prepare periodic reports on document status for management and client requirements.
5. Audit Support
o Provide necessary documentation during Aramco and internal audits.
o Ensure document retention and retrieval system is audit-ready at all times.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Mandatory: Aramco approval as Document Controller (specific to HSE function preferred).
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as Document Controller, with 3+ years in HSE documentation on
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, OHSAS, or equivalent safety management systems. Aramco or similar oil & gas projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Aramco documentation platforms (e.g., SAP, Sharek, Documentum).
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Aramco GI-0006.001 (Document Control) and relevant specifications.
• Experience with large-scale EPC projects.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and HSE procedures.
