We are seeking a Mechanical QC Engineer to join our team on a short-term steel fabrication & erection project. The role is for a duration of 1–2 months, with immediate joining required.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inspection of steel fabrication and erection works in line with project specifications and QA/QC standards.
Review drawings, welding procedures (WPS/PQR), and ensure compliance during execution.
Monitor and record inspections for welding, bolting, fit-up, and alignment activities.
Prepare daily QC reports and maintain proper documentation for client/consultant approvals.
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives on quality matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–3 years of relevant experience in steel structure fabrication and erection projects.
Good knowledge of QA/QC standards, inspection techniques, and related documentation.
Familiarity with welding inspection, material traceability, and quality records.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
