Draftsman (with BIM Experience) — Dammam Project

About the Role

We’re hiring a Draftsman with strong BIM experience to support our Dammam project. The role focuses on preparing high-quality shop drawings and coordinated BIM models for piling, shoring, secant pile walls, capping beams, and associated civil/structural works, ensuring full alignment with project specifications and stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce, revise, and maintain shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detail sheets for piling and foundation works.
• Develop and update BIM models (LOD 300–400) for coordination, quantities, and constructability review.
• Perform clash detection and resolve issues with site engineers, designers, and third-party consultants.
• Prepare bar bending schedules, pile schedules, setting-out drawings, and excavation profiles.
• Ensure drawings comply with IFC, design criteria, and standards (file naming, version control, and drawing registers—preferably ISO 19650).
• Coordinate with Survey/QAQC to integrate redlines and site conditions into drawings/models.
• Publish, track, and archive deliverables via BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (or Aconex as applicable).
• Support RFIs/Technical queries with clear sketches and model extracts.
• Assist in method statements and visual sequences (4D/markups) when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor in Civil Engineering/Architecture or related technical discipline.
• 3–7 years drafting experience in civil/structural construction; GCC experience preferred.
• Demonstrated BIM/Revit modeling experience on infrastructure or heavy civil works (piling/shoring/secant piles is a strong plus).
• Strong knowledge of shop drawing standards, rebar detailing, and constructability.

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD (advanced), Revit (advanced), Navisworks Manage (clash detection), BIM 360/ACC.
• Bonus: Civil 3D, Dynamo, Bluebeam, Aconex document control.
• Proficient with MS Excel for schedules/registers.

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
• Strong communication for multi-stakeholder coordination (contractor, consultant, client).
• Ability to handle fast-track deliverables with minimal supervision.
