Position Overview
To manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support month-end closing, reporting, and compliance activities in alignment with the company’s policies and accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Operations:
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in the ERP (Odoo).
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure proper journal entries.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and expense claims.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow updates on a weekly basis.
• Ensure accurate posting of inventory and cost of goods sold.
2. Reporting & Analysis:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Assist in preparing management and board financial reports.
• Track project expenses, sales margins, and cost allocation by branch and product category.
3. Compliance & Audit:
• Ensure all accounting transactions comply with ZATCA and IFRS requirements.
• Prepare VAT returns, WHT, and Zakat submissions.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
4. Coordination:
• Coordinate with the Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse teams for cost validation.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll reconciliations and employee benefits accounting.
• Work with banks and external stakeholders for LCs, guarantees, and payments.
5. Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting (preferably in manufacturing or construction).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and Zakat regulations.
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP (or similar systems), MS Excel, and financial reporting.
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills.
• Fluent in English
