Core Responsibilities
- **Site Assessment & Feasibility**
- Conduct site surveys to evaluate solar potential, shading, and structural suitability.
- Analyze local climate data and terrain to optimize system design.
- **System Design & Planning**
- Collaborate with design teams to finalize layout, electrical schematics, and mounting structures.
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations, safety codes, and environmental standards.
- **Installation Oversight**
- Supervise on-site installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems, including panels, inverters, and wiring.
- Coordinate with contractors and technicians to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- **Quality Control & Testing**
- Inspect installations for compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Perform testing and commissioning of systems to verify performance and reliability.
- **Project Coordination**
- Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders to align timelines and deliverables.
- Maintain documentation including daily reports, site logs, and progress updates.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues post-installation.
- Recommend upgrades or repairs to improve system efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Saudi Council of Engineers Certificate
- Solar Designer & Installer Certificate
- Strong understanding of solar PV technology, electrical systems, and structural engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and other solar design tools.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and team coordination abilities.
