We are looking for Mechanical Engineer ( Maintenance)

Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all mechanical maintenance activities for static and rotating equipment under Saudi Aramco Mid-Form, Long-Form, and Turnaround & Inspection (T&I) Contracts.

The role demands strong technical expertise in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sectors, adherence to Saudi Aramco’s quality, safety, and performance standards, and professional representation of our company in all client and project interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical equipment and systems.

• Lead and supervise maintenance teams in the inspection, repair, and overhaul of static and rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, exchangers, and pressure vessels.

• Ensure timely completion of T&I activities, including pre-shutdown planning, execution, and post-maintenance reporting.

• Oversee and ensure proper piping and valve maintenance, including greasing, pressure testing, and integrity verification.

• Supervise hydrotesting, nitrogen purging, and leak testing of pipelines and equipment as per Saudi Aramco procedures.

• Direct and monitor mechanical fabrication, repair, and welding activities in compliance with Aramco and international standards (ASME, API, AWS).

• Ensure quality compliance in surface preparation, painting, and coating works.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and maintenance manuals to ensure accurate execution of work.

• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco’s maintenance procedures, specifications, and performance KPIs.

• Prepare and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA), maintenance schedules, material requisitions, and work reports.

• Coordinate with Saudi Aramco representatives, vendors, and subcontractors for technical reviews, inspections, and approvals.

• Monitor and report equipment performance, reliability, and maintenance trends for continuous improvement.

• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture aligned with Saudi Aramco’s Loss Prevention System (LPS) and AlMeer’s HSE policies.

• Represent company professionally in all client meetings, audits, and technical discussions to ensure high standards of performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical plants, with significant exposure to Saudi Aramco maintenance projects.

• Hands-on experience in static and rotating equipment maintenance, overhauls, and field troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of piping systems, valve maintenance, hydrotesting, nitrogen purging, and fabrication practices.

• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco engineering, quality, and safety standards (SAES, SAMSS, SAEP, GI).

• Proficient in reading technical drawings, preparing reports, and using maintenance management systems (CMMS/SAP).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and team coordination skills.

• Strong understanding of maintenance KPIs, resource planning, and documentation control.

Preferred Certifications (Advantageous):

• Saudi Aramco Work Permit Receiver (WPR) certification

• API / ASME / AWS certifications in mechanical inspection, pressure vessels, or welding

• NEBOSH / OSHA / Aramco HSE Certification

• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Registration
