-- HVAC Site Engineer -- Job Description --

Key Responsibilities

--Technical & Documentation

• Prepare, review, and manage all technical submittals (material, shop drawings, samples, method statements, etc.) to ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and local regulations.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including RFI logs, submittal registers, meeting minutes, daily reports, and project correspondence.

• Review shop drawings and technical data provided by contractors or suppliers for accuracy and adherence to design intent.

• Ensure all installation activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

• Participate in site inspections and quality control checks for HVAC installations.

-- Site Management & Operations

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day site activities related to HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning.

• Monitor project progress against the schedule and report any deviations to the Project Manager.

• Coordinate with the construction team, other engineering disciplines, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and conflict resolution.

• Monitor safety protocols on-site and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.

-- Experience Requirements (New)

• Demonstrated experience in the execution of ducting and panels.

• Must have individually handled and handed over at least 2 to 3 projects without any help or supervision.

• A minimum of 5+ years of GCC experience is required.

• Immediate joining is necessary.

-- Administration & Reporting

• Manage and verify site manpower time sheets and equipment usage logs for accurate record-keeping and billing.

• Assist the Quantity Surveyor with verifying contractor's payment applications and change orders.

• Prepare regular progress reports detailing site status, challenges, and upcoming activities.

-- Coordination & Communication

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for client coordination, representing the company in site meetings and technical discussions.

• Effectively communicate design issues, site progress, and required approvals to the Project Manager, client representatives, and relevant stakeholders.

• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams regarding the timely delivery and inspection of all HVAC materials and equipment.
