Project Manager Job in Saudi


Job description

Manage and lead assigned major or small projects for ADNOC and other Group Companies from project award to completion. Ensure full compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, HSE policies, project schedule, and approved budget.


Key Accountabilities

Job-Specific Responsibilities


Act as Project Manager for construction projects from award to handover.


Prepare and implement detailed project execution plans aligned with company objectives.


Lead and motivate the project management team to ensure successful project delivery.


Ensure adequate training is provided to project staff.


Manage, supervise, and control the quality and progress of work performed by contractors.


Identify project bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.


Ensure all materials, equipment, and final products meet contract specifications.


Maintain coordination between the Company, Contractors, and other agencies to ensure progress, quality, cost, and safety compliance.


Review and recommend cost estimates and project schedules for approval.


Monitor budgets, schedules, and project quality during execution.


Establish project organization and mobilize consultants and inspection services.


Conduct regular weekly and monthly meetings with contractors and consultants.


Ensure end-user requirements are addressed as per contract scope.


Ensure all required audits are completed and corrective actions implemented.


Resolve project challenges by analyzing issues and recommending best-practice solutions.


Monitor work performed by licensors, engineering teams, and EPC contractors for full compliance.


Lead the development of project schedules, cost estimates, and budgets for management approval.


Provide technical expertise and prepare weekly progress reports.


Verify and certify contractor/vendor invoices and endorse final acceptance.


Review change orders and claims, and recommend resolutions.


Ensure all project documentation, handover materials, and close-out reports are completed as required.

Identify process improvements aligned with industry best practices.

Comply with HSE policies, procedures, legislation, and ADNOC Codes of Practice.


Reports


Provide input for MIS and progress reports for management.

Across ADNOC Distribution divisions.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Minimum Qualification


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.


Project Management certification is preferred.


Minimum Experience


8 years of engineering project implementation experience in the Oil & Gas industry.


Minimum 5 years in a senior management role overseeing multidisciplinary engineering functions.


Experience in preparing FEED packages.


Professional Certification


PMP Certification (required).


Technical & Behavioral Competencies


As per ADNOC competencies framework.
