Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and executing mechanical engineering activities across Oil Refinery, Petrochemical Plant, Gas Plant, and Mining Projects, ensuring all work meets industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems and equipment for oil refineries, petrochemical plants, gas plants, and mining facilities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate project requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards and operational needs.
• Plan and execute mechanical maintenance, shutdown, turnaround, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical system and equipment issues to maintain safe and reliable plant operations.
• Support all phases of project execution, including:
• Mechanical design and engineering
• Procurement and construction support
• Commissioning and start-up support
• Maintenance and shutdown support
Piping & Skid Expertise
• Perform pipe repair, replacement, and fabrication of piping systems and components, including proper material selection.
• Work on skid integration involving mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Conduct hydrotesting and leak testing for piping and skid systems.
• Read and interpret skid piping drawings, fabrication documents, and inspection/testing procedures.
• Prepare accurate as-built documentation for skid piping fabrication and installation.
• Support skid design, piping layout, and fabrication activities as per project specifications.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a similar field (oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or mining projects).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical standards, piping systems, and materials used in industrial facilities.
• Good reporting, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
