Job Description:
8 years of experience in HSE and 2 years experience working in Construction Supervision
Safety Supervisor is responsible for developing and managing safety policies and programs. you'll develop and maintain standards that will ensure that the site meets safety and environmental goals. You'll help create and improve project safety programs.
Great teamwork and leadership skills are important as you ensure that your team follows safety rules. You'll train your team on safety and environmental protection processes and rules. As a Safety Supervisor, you'll direct and manage compliance with the company safety programs to ensure company safety goals are met. When you see unsafe practices, it will be your job to adjust how the work gets done to ensure the safety of your team and those around you.
Training and overseeing workers on safety procedures and practices to prevent injuries or accidents.
Coordinating first aid treatment and medical evacuation in cases of serious injury or illness.
Inspecting the site for potential hazards that may cause harm to people or damage to property.
Maintaining accurate records of accident data and near-miss incidents, which can be used to identify problem areas and create solutions.
Conducting regular check-ups on equipment such as lifts, cranes, scaffolding, and electrical equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and safe to use.
Providing first aid treatment to injured workers, using knowledge of medical terminology, bandaging techniques, and other basic medical procedures.
Monitoring the work environment to ensure that safety standards are met by workers and contractors.
Reviewing safety procedures and equipment to ensure that they are adequate for the task at hand.
Conducting training sessions on-site safety and providing feedback on performance.
