Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil preferred)
Experience:
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in steel structure and steel erection projects

Job Description:
The Planning Engineer is responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling steel structure and steel erection projects to ensure timely completion within approved budgets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed project schedules for steel fabrication and steel erection works
Develop baseline schedules, look-ahead plans, and recovery schedules
Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site teams
Analyze delays and prepare time impact analysis and mitigation plans
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for management and clients
Track material delivery, fabrication progress, and erection sequences
Support project managers with planning, forecasting, and resource allocation
Assist in preparation of claims, extensions of time (EOT), and variations
Ensure alignment between project execution and approved schedules
Participate in project meetings and planning reviews
