We are looking for Job position: Electrical Engineer – Maintenance

Work Location: Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) – Offshore Facilities

Contract Type: Long-Term Maintenance Contract

Job Purpose:

The Electrical Engineer – Maintenance will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities of all electrical systems and equipment at KJO offshore operational facilities. The role ensures the safe, reliable, and continuous operation of electrical power systems, contributing to the efficient functioning of offshore production and processing operations in compliance with KJO maintenance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for electrical equipment and systems.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in motors, transformers, switchgears, control panels, MCCs, lighting systems, UPS systems, and power distribution networks.

• Ensure all electrical systems are maintained in accordance with KJO standards, industry codes, and safety regulations.

• Review maintenance work orders, prioritize activities, and prepare technical reports on equipment performance and failure analysis.

• Participate in the inspection, testing, and commissioning of new or overhauled electrical equipment.

• Monitor and evaluate electrical system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and energy efficiency.

• Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks in coordination with the offshore operations team.

• Provide technical guidance and supervision to electrical technicians and contractors during maintenance operations.

• Ensure all work is executed following Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and permit-to-work procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and test results.

• Liaise with KJO representatives, vendors, and suppliers regarding technical issues, spare parts, and maintenance support.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within Oil & Gas production or processing facilities, preferably in offshore environments.

• Strong technical knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical systems, power distribution, and electrical protection schemes.

• Familiar with international electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA).

• Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and preventive maintenance procedures.

• Good understanding of control and instrumentation interfaces within electrical systems.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to offshore working conditions.

Reporting To:

Maintenance Superintendent / KJO Electrical Maintenance Team Leader

• Basic Salary per month will be 3000 USD

• Note: Offshore work experience shall be an added advantage.

• Note : Candidates with Immediate joining are preferred.
