Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Planning / Project Control Engineer with a strong background in airport construction projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, ensuring timely execution, and supporting project management with accurate progress reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using industry?standard planning tools.
Prepare baseline schedules, recovery schedules, and revised schedules as required.
Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather progress data.
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and KPI summaries for management.
Conduct variance analysis (planned vs. actual) and highlight critical issues impacting project timelines.
Support cost control activities by aligning schedule data with budget and resource plans.
Participate in project meetings and provide schedule?related insights and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company standards.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure transparency in planning and reporting processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and project control roles.
Proven experience working on airport or aviation?related construction projects.
Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
Solid understanding of project management principles, cost control, and resource planning.
Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
