Position: Mid-Level Project Engineer – Estimation

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

AK Group Company is looking for a qualified and motivated Mid-Level Project Engineer with experience in estimation to join our growing team in Dammam. Candidates must have a valid Iqama with at least 3 months remaining.

Key Responsibilities:

-Prepare detailed project cost estimates, budgets, and quotations.

-Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents for accurate estimations.

-Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and design teams to gather required information.

-Perform quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for materials, labor, and equipment.

-Monitor project costs and provide recommendations for cost optimization.

-Assist in project planning, scheduling, and reporting.

-Support tender submissions and client negotiations with accurate data.

-Maintain estimation records and databases for future reference and benchmarking.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Civil or relevant Engineering discipline.

-Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in estimation, construction, or EPC projects.

-Proven experience in preparing BOQs, cost estimation, and tender documentation.

-Familiarity with industry standards, construction methods, and materials.

-Experience with project management software and MS Office applications.

Skills & Competencies:

-Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

-Proficiency in estimation tools and software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, CostX, or similar).

-Strong organizational and time management skills.

-Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
