Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil Engineer – Pricing and Tender Evaluation to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, tender preparation, bid evaluation, and commercial analysis for civil and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and pricing for civil works
Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications
Evaluate contractor and supplier bids for technical and commercial compliance
Conduct cost comparisons, value engineering, and risk assessments
Support tender submissions, clarifications, and negotiations
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams
Maintain cost databases and pricing benchmarks
Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements Requirements:
Proven experience in pricing, estimation, and tender evaluation
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates
Proficiency in Excel and estimation software (e.g., Candy, Cost X, Primavera, or similar)
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Preferred:
Experience in large-scale infrastructure or building projects
Familiarity with FIDIC or similar contract forms
