We are looking for a vigilant and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all personnel and site activities, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a "Safety First" culture on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Site Oversight: Actively oversee and monitor all daily site activities to ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and company safety policies.
Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive Risk Assessments (RA) and prepare Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for various site tasks before execution.
Inspections: Perform regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and implement immediate corrective actions.
Training: Conduct Toolbox Talks (TBT) and safety inductions for new workers and staff.
Reporting: Investigate accidents/incidents if they occur and prepare detailed reports with preventive recommendations.
Compliance: Ensure all site operations comply with local regulations and international safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Certification: Must hold a valid NEBOSH IGC certification.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a Safety Officer/Supervisor role.
(SEC approved will be preferred first).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in creating Risk Assessments (RA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documents.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively brief teams and report to management.
Availability: Able to join Immediately.
