Job Purpose
To supervise and manage all civil works related to OSP (Outside Plant) and FFTH (Fiber to the Home) projects, ensuring construction activities are executed safely, on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily civil works for OSP and FFTH projects including trenching, duct laying, backfilling, reinstatement, manholes/handholes, chambers, HDD, and concrete works.
Ensure work is executed as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
Coordinate with fiber teams, subcontractors, utilities, and local authorities to avoid clashes and delays.
Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal productivity.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, toolbox talks, and site safety regulations.
Inspect completed works and ensure quality standards before client/consultant inspection.
Identify and resolve site issues, obstacles, and constructability problems.
Prepare daily progress reports, site records, and material consumption reports.
Support survey, setting-out, and as-built documentation activities.
Coordinate reinstatement approvals with municipalities and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure proper housekeeping and site cleanliness at all times.
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Valid driving license (preferred).
