The Work Permit Receiver (WPR) is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and accepting Saudi Aramco work permits before any job commences. The WPR ensures that all permit requirements, safety procedures, and control measures are understood and strictly followed. They act as a key liaison between the permit issuer, supervisors, and work crews to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with Aramco standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and validate Saudi Aramco work permits prior to the start of work.
Ensure all work activities comply with Aramco HSE rules, permit conditions, and safety standards.
Identify hazards associated with the job and verify that appropriate control measures are in place.
Coordinate with Permit Issuers, supervisors, and work crews to ensure clarity on permit requirements.
Conduct pre-job briefings or toolbox talks to communicate hazards and safety precautions.
Monitor ongoing work to ensure adherence to permit conditions and Aramco procedures.
Stop work immediately if unsafe conditions are detected or permit requirements are not met.
Maintain accurate records of issued, received, and closed permits.
Support audits and inspections related to permit compliance and safety practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Knowledge of Saudi Aramco work permit system and HSE regulations.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and ability to identify hazards.
Basic understanding of industrial operations and safety procedures.
