What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

Infrastructure & Systems Management

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policies, and File Server roles.
• Manage and optimize virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere to ensure high availability and performance.
• Handle shared storage systems (SAN/NAS), including provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Backup, Security & Compliance

• Support and monitor daily backup operations using Veeam, including regular testing and restoration.
• Execute OS patching, server performance optimization, and security updates.
• Assist with system hardening and ensure configurations meet compliance requirements.
• Manage and renew SSL certificates, licenses, and inventory for essential software.

Systems Operations & User Support

• Maintain core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, print servers, and patch management.
• Manage user account provisioning, access rights, and Group Policy documentation.
• Support collaboration platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Exchange, ensuring availability and proper access controls.

Deployment & Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate application and server rollouts, upgrades, and service pack deployments.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on hardware and assist with system upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and service availability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in system administration within mid?to?large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure services (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO).
• Solid experience with VMware and enterprise backup solutions (Veeam preferred).
• Familiarity with system hardening practices and compliance-driven configurations.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
