ELV Supervisor – Job Description
Position: ELV Site Supervisor
Department: Electrical / ELV
Reports to: ELV Engineer / Project Manager
Location: Project Site (KSA)
Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day installation of all ELV systems:
CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, Data Network, BMS, Public Address, IPTV, Intercom, Gate Barrier, Fiber Optics.
Ensure installation is done as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
Allocate work to technicians and helpers and monitor productivity.
Coordinate with civil and MEP teams for routing, conduit, cable tray, trunking, and device installation.
Conduct quality checks for cabling, terminations, testing & commissioning.
Prepare daily site reports (progress, manpower, issues).
Request materials in advance and ensure proper material usage.
Assist ELV Engineer in testing, commissioning, and handing over documentation.
Ensure strict compliance with safety rules and client standards (Aramco/NEOM/RC if applicable).
Requirements
Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Technical Certification.
3–5 years of ELV project experience in KSA/UAE.
Strong knowledge of ELV systems installation and troubleshooting.
Ability to read ELV drawings and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
Good communication and team-management skills.
2. ELV Foreman – Job Description
Position: ELV Foreman
Department: Electrical / ELV
Reports to: ELV Supervisor / ELV Engineer
Location: Project Site (KSA)
Responsibilities
Lead a team of ELV technicians for installation, termination, and testing.
Execute work for ELV systems: CCTV, access control, data cabling, fiber optics, fire alarm, PA, etc.
Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, standards, and supervisor instructions.
Guide technicians on proper cable pulling, dressing, containment installation, device mounting, and panel wiring.
Maintain proper record of tools, materials, and equipment.
Report daily progress, issues, and material needs to the supervisor.
Ensure workmanship quality and adhere to safety requirements.
Assist in pre-testing, continuity testing, and system preparation for commissioning.
Requirements
ITI/Diploma or technical background in Electrical/Electronics.
2–4 years of experience as ELV Technician/Foreman.
Good understanding of structured cabling, fiber splicing basics, and ELV device installation.
Ability to read basic ELV drawings.
