Position: SENIOR SAFETY ENGINEER / SENIOR SAFETY COORDINATOR

Minimum Experience Required: 8 Years

Location: Riyadh and Red Sea Area

Duration: Long Term

Mobilization: Immediately

Documents Required: Ajeer

Academic Qualification

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, or Construction Management.

Experience

? Minimum 8 years’ experience in safety of the Construction Management .

? Minimum 5 years’ experience in safety Implementation on major Projects or Program.

? Experience working with a Consultant and VT Scope.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

? Possess excellent English written skills

? Possess excellent oral communication skills with an ability to form effective relationships with

Project delivery, Client, and Contractor under time pressure.

? Possess the ability to write letters, technical instructions, develop analytical reports and

presentations.

Major Responsibilities:

The safety Coordinator will be responsible for the effective implementation and compliant adoption of safety standards, processes and protocols both at organizational and project level.

1. To coordinate EH&S activities including preparing internal and external reports

2. To coordinate and carry out inspections and reviews according to the targets set by the company

3. Analyzing the indicators and directions of different aspects of safety (Inspection results, Injuries, Accidents, etc.), and preparing recommendations to present to the SHE committee to include a safety action plan (Which should include a time schedule, responsibilities and period for undertaking all recommendations)

4. To develop the activities of FOD personnel in-charge through a training program to enable them to manage the Safety and Environment requirements at their departments and to be involved in its delivery

5. To present technical advice and practical suggestions concerning SH&E

6. To make available assistance and technical support concerning safety periodical requirements

7. To train FOD personnel in-charge on how to investigate on accidents at their departments and to share with them on those investigations

8. To train FOD personnel in-charge on recognizing hazardous and risks, and to share with them those recognitions.

9. To conduct surprise inspections to ensure that H & S requirements are being implemented as mentioned before and to include reviewing documentation supporting this process.
