Immediate Supervisor: Material Manager / Team Lead

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Experience in petrochemical plant maintenance with strong background in instrumentation equipment such as turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, columns, tanks, and boilers.

• Hands-on knowledge of instrumentation & control system maintenance and overhauling of equipment.

• Knowledge in I&C system commissioning, start-ups, construction, troubleshooting, procedure writing, and control system function checks.

• Knowledge of calibration, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation devices (control valves, transmitters, gas detection, indicators, and switches).

• Recommend spare parts, Bill of Materials (BOM), criticality, and MRP for instrument equipment.

• Technical expertise in equipment maintenance activities, standards, operating procedures, and checklists.

• Review documents such as P&ID, data sheets, drawings, nameplates, BOM, catalogues, and purchase orders to ensure data availability.

• Follow up with manufacturers for incomplete or missing data.

• Prepare Equipment BOM through MDRM & SAP in coordination with end users.

• Perform technical review of vendor spare parts data packages to identify duplication and discrepancies.

• Identify correct noun modifiers and UNSPSC codes for material classification.

• Check existing equipment/spare parts before cataloging and link BOM with tag numbers where applicable.

• Coordinate with project engineers for documentation of newly installed equipment.

• Knowledge of multi-stage turbines and feed pumps is an advantage.

• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 14224 & ISO 5500x) and SAP is a plus.

• Experience in oil & gas / petrochemical industry is preferred.

• Support in preparation of weekly progress reports.
