Job Summary
The Civil Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily site activities related to road construction, ensuring that excavation, backfilling, subbase, and asphalt works are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day site activities including excavation, backfilling, subgrade, subbase, base course, and asphalt works
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
Monitor workforce productivity and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams
Ensure proper utilization of equipment and materials on-site
Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and safety standards
Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with project requirements
Assist in planning daily work schedules and reporting progress to site engineers/project managers
Identify and resolve site issues and report any delays or technical challenges
Ensure proper site housekeeping and adherence to safety procedures
Maintain daily reports on site activities, manpower, and equipment usage
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in road infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of excavation, backfilling, and asphalt construction processes
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Experience in supervising site teams and subcontractors
