Job Description Title: Production Manager – Carpentry / Wood Factory Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Job Summary The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing operations of the carpentry factory, ensuring efficient production, quality standards, cost control, and on-time delivery. The role involves managing workforce, machinery, materials, and production planning in line with project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Execution Develop and implement production schedules based on project timelines and client requirements Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth workflow Monitor daily production output and adjust plans to meet deadlines Operations Management Oversee all carpentry operations including cutting, machining, assembly, finishing, and installation preparation, Ensure optimal utilization of machines, tools, and labor Improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste Quality Control Ensure all products meet design specifications and quality standards Implement quality control systems and conduct regular inspections Address defects and implement corrective actions Team Leadership Supervise and manage carpenters, machine operators, and supervisors Provide training and skill development for workers Maintain discipline, safety, and productivity on the shop floor Health & Safety Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Promote a safe working environment and conduct safety training Inventory & Material Management Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of raw materials (wood, hardware, finishes) Monitor material usage and minimize wastage Maintain stock levels and report shortages Cost Control Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives Optimize labor and material usage to improve margins Reporting Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports Track KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, waste, and downtime Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field (preferred) Diploma in carpentry/wood technology is a plus Experience 5–10 years of experience in carpentry, joinery, or wood manufacturing At least 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role Experience in furniture production, interior fit-outs, or custom woodwork preferred Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of carpentry machinery (CNC, edge banding, panel saws, etc.) Production planning and workflow management Leadership and team management skills Problem-solving and decision-making ability Knowledge of quality standards and safety regulations Basic understanding of AutoCAD drawings and shop drawings ERP or production management software experience is a plus Key KPIs On-time production delivery Production efficiency and output levels Material wastage percentage Quality rejection rate Labor productivity Working Conditions Factory-based role with regular shop floor supervision May require extended hours to meet project deadlines Please share only who have minimum 10years of Wooden/Carpentry Experience of Saudi Arabia/GULF email: liaqath.ali@superstruct.com.sa Mobile: 0542245997
