Requirements:
• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 2–4 years of experience in MEP drafting (2D AutoCAD)
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare 2D MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)
• Draft layouts including:
Ducting systems
Piping (CHW, plumbing, drainage)
Cable trays, lighting, and power layouts
• Convert design drawings into detailed construction/shop drawings
• Update drawings based on engineer comments and site redlines
• Coordinate drawings with architectural and structural layouts
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
Preferred:
• Experience in large-scale or fast-track construction projects
• Basic knowledge of Revit (optional, not mandatory)
• Familiarity with KSA standards and site practices
