Job description

We are seeking a qualified and motivated **Electrical Engineer** with a strong background in the **MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)** field for our High Rise project in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting all stages of electrical works — from design and load calculations to site execution, QA/QC, and final testing and commissioning — in compliance with local standards and best practices.

## **Key Responsibilities:**

* Develop and review basic and detailed electrical design drawings, single-line diagrams, and layouts in line with project requirements and Saudi Building Codes.

* Perform accurate **electrical load calculations**, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing to ensure efficient system performance.

* Coordinate with design consultants and other disciplines to integrate electrical systems within the overall MEP framework.

* Oversee **site execution activities**, ensuring installation works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

* Conduct regular **QA/QC inspections**, verifying materials, installation, and workmanship meet quality standards and project specifications.

* Prepare and review inspection test plans (ITPs) and method statements related to electrical works.

* Supervise and participate in **testing and commissioning** of electrical systems including LV distribution panels, lighting, small power, earthing, and ELV systems.

* Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with KSA regulations.

* Prepare progress reports, snag lists, and as-built documentation.

* Support HSE compliance on site, ensuring electrical safety practices are implemented effectively.

## **Key Requirements:**

* Bachelor’s degree in **Electrical Engineering** from a recognized university.

* **3–7 years** of relevant experience in the MEP sector, preferably within the **Kingdom of Saudi Arabia**.

* Solid knowledge of **Saudi Building Code (SBC)**, SEC standards, and other applicable local and international codes.

* Proven experience in electrical design, load calculations, site supervision, QA/QC, and T&C.

* Proficiency in using electrical design software.

* Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

* Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

* **Indian nationality preferred.**

## **Salary Package:**

* Total package: **SAR 8,000 per month**, inclusive of all allowances.
