Job Vacancy – QA/QC Engineer

Position: QA/QC Engineer
Location: Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

Barq Al Mustaqbal Co. is seeking a qualified and experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our project team in Al Ahsa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control procedures, ensuring all project activities comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality documentation.
  • Conduct inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project teams on quality-related matters.
  • Raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
  • Ensure all materials and workmanship meet project quality requirements.
  • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits.
  • Support project completion by ensuring all QA/QC documentation is properly compiled and submitted.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, international standards, and project documentation.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA/QC documentation.
  • Must have prior experience in Infrastructure Project (such as water pipeline connection).
  • Prior experience with NWC project will added advantage.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Valid transferable Iqama.
  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is mandatory.
