Job Vacancy – Resident Electrical Engineer
Position: Resident Electrical Engineer (Site-Based)
Location:Al Hamadaniyyah Jedddah, Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Package Salary: SAR 5,500 – 6,500 (based on qualifications and experience)
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Resident Electrical Engineer to be based full-time at the project site. The successful candidate will carry out all duties of the site electrical engineer, ensuring that electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and monitor all electrical works on site on a daily basis.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to electrical works.
Ensure execution complies with approved designs, project specifications, and Saudi codes/standards.
Inspect electrical installations (power, lighting, low current, earthing, etc.) and approve or reject works.
Coordinate with the contractor, consultant, and other disciplines to resolve site issues.
Attend site meetings and prepare daily/weekly progress reports for electrical activities.
Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems and verify results.
Monitor quality and safety compliance for all electrical activities on site.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience in site/construction supervision.
Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership. Mandatory
Good knowledge of relevant codes and standards (SBC, IEC, NFPA as applicable).
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using MS Office.
Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
Willingness to reside at/near the project site full-time.
