Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with 4 – 7 years of EPC project experience to join our Project Controls team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring project schedules, tracking progress, and supporting the timely execution of engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
* Update project schedules based on engineering, procurement, and construction progress.
* Monitor project performance against approved baselines and milestones.
* Perform critical path and schedule variance analyses.
* Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, S-curves, and progress dashboards.
* Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontract teams to collect progress updates.
* Assist in forecasting project completion dates and identifying schedule risks.
* Support recovery planning and schedule optimization activities.
* Ensure schedule updates are accurate and aligned with project requirements.
* Participate in project review meetings and provide planning insights to project management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
* 4 – 7 years of planning and scheduling experience in EPC, oil & gas projects.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required.
* Good understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and project planning principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment..
