Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer (2–5 Years Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Site Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to oversee electrical works on construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that electrical installations are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations while meeting project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation works, including power distribution, lighting systems, cable routing, earthing, low-current systems, and electrical equipment installation.

Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Monitor daily site activities and ensure timely completion of electrical works.

Coordinate with civil, mechanical, architectural, and MEP teams to resolve site issues.

Quality Control

Inspect electrical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.

Verify delivered materials against approved material submittals.

Ensure all testing activities are completed and documented.

Planning & Coordination

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.

Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Identify technical issues and recommend effective solutions.

Documentation

Review shop drawings, electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.

Prepare inspection requests (IRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), and as-built drawings.

Maintain project documentation and installation records.

Testing & Commissioning

Assist in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

Coordinate with QA/QC and commissioning teams to ensure successful project handover.

Verify system performance and resolve commissioning issues.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and project safety requirements.

Promote safe work practices and participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Report unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

2–5 years of site experience in building, infrastructure, industrial, or MEP projects.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-current systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications.

Familiarity with IEC, NEC, and other relevant electrical standards.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage.

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.

Preferred Skills

Experience in EPC, commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.

Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and electrical inspection processes.

Knowledge of testing and commissioning of LV electrical systems.

Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.

Valid Saudi driving license (preferred).

Transferable Iqama (for candidates currently in Saudi Arabia).
