We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mechanical Site Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to oversee and execute mechanical works at construction sites. The successful candidate will ensure that all mechanical installations are completed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Site Execution
Supervise and coordinate all mechanical works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping, and mechanical equipment installation.
Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Monitor daily site activities and ensure adherence to project schedules.
Coordinate with civil, electrical, and architectural teams to resolve site issues.
Quality Control
Inspect mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
Conduct site inspections and prepare quality reports.
Review material deliveries and verify compliance with approved submittals.
Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients.
Planning & Coordination
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project management teams.
Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Identify and resolve technical issues during construction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2–5 years of site experience in building, infrastructure, industrial, or MEP projects.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, piping systems, and mechanical installations.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with international codes and standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project is an advantage.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities.
Preferred Skills
Experience in EPC, commercial, residential, or industrial construction projects.
Familiarity with QA/QC procedures and inspection processes.
Understanding of testing & commissioning activities.
Experience working with consultants and clients.
Valid Saudi driving license (preferred).
Transferable Iqama (for candidates currently in Saudi Arabia).
