Restaurant Manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities Manage the restaurant's daily operations and ensure smooth service. Supervise, train, motivate, and evaluate restaurant staff. Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance and shift coverage. Ensure high standards of guest service and promptly resolve customer complaints. Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and service standards. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations. Monitor inventory, food supplies, and equipment; minimize waste and losses. Control labor, food, and operating costs while maintaining service quality. Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and financial performance. Work with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient coordination. Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily targets and operational priorities. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall restaurant appearance. Handle opening and closing procedures according to company policies. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements where necessary. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Support marketing and promotional activities to increase sales and customer retention. Ensure all employees follow company policies, procedures, and service standards.
