???? Qualifications & Requirements
???? Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
???? 1–2 years of practical accounting experience.
???? Good knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, procedures, and financial controls.
???? Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
???? Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly for preparing and reviewing financial data.
???? Experience handling invoices, expenses, financial transactions, and supporting documentation.
???? Understanding of bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and ledger activities.
???? High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
???? Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
???? Ability to prioritize tasks and manage financial transactions efficiently.
???? Key Responsibilities
???? Record and follow up on daily accounting transactions and journal entries.
???? Review invoices, expenses, and supporting financial documents for completeness and accuracy.
???? Assist with managing and reconciling customer and supplier accounts.
???? Perform bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations.
???? Support the preparation of periodic financial reports and statements.
???? Assist with monthly and annual financial closing activities.
???? Update financial information in accounting systems and ensure records remain accurate and complete.
???? Maintain organized financial documentation in accordance with approved procedures.
???? Follow up on outstanding financial transactions and identify discrepancies requiring correction.
???? Support the Finance team with additional accounting and reporting requirements as needed.
