Urgent Requirement: Mechanical QA/QC Engineer – Seamless Pipe Mill Project
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Engineer for an ongoing Seamless Pipe Mill / Steel Plant Expansion Project in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum 5+ years of Mechanical QA/QC experience
* Previous experience in Seamless Pipe Mill, Steel Plant, Rolling Mill, Heat Treatment Line, Finishing Line, or similar heavy industrial projects is highly preferred
* Strong knowledge of mechanical/process equipment installation, erection, alignment, leveling, inspection, and commissioning
* Experience with steel structure erection and inspection
* Good knowledge of piping, welding, hydrotesting, NDT, WPS, PQR, WQT, and material traceability
* Experience with rotating and static equipment, pumps, conveyors, hydraulic and lubrication systems
* Knowledge of equipment foundations, anchor bolts, base plates, grouting, and equipment alignment
* Familiar with ITP, Method Statements, MIR, RFI/WIR, NCR, punch lists, inspection checklists, and QA/QC dossiers
* Ability to review GA drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, mechanical drawings, equipment layouts, vendor drawings, and technical specifications
* Familiar with applicable ASME, ASTM, AWS, API, ISO, and project specifications
* Good coordination skills with Client, Construction, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Vendors, and Subcontractors
* Knowledge of mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, punch clearing, and final handover documentation
Candidates with direct Seamless Pipe Mill / Steel Plant experience will be given priority.
