Hiring - Industrial Engineering Team

Industrial Decommissioning, Piping Removal, Cold Cutting, Heavy Lifting & HSE - Saudi Arabia

TGC is seeking highly experienced engineering and technical professionals with proven field experience to support industrial projects in Saudi Arabia involving industrial decommissioning, piping removal, cold cutting, heavy lifting, material handling, loading and transportation.

Required Positions

1) Senior Mechanical / Piping Method Engineer

- Development of Method Statements and Work Sequence Drawings

- Piping removal and decommissioning experience

- Development of Cold Cutting Plans

- Ability to interpret P&IDs, Isometrics and GA Drawings

- Development of pipe isolation, cutting and removal sequences

- Coordination of isolation, cutting, lifting and handling activities

- Oil & Gas / Petrochemical project experience

2) Lifting Engineer / Appointed Person

- Engineered Lift Plans and Lifting Studies

- Load weight and Center of Gravity (COG) calculations

- Crane radius, crane utilization and crane selection

- Selection of slings, shackles, spreader beams and lifting accessories

- Rigging arrangements, lifting and loading drawings

- Experience in lifting and loading pipes and structural components onto flatbed trailers

3) HSE Engineer - Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects

- HSE Plans, Risk Assessments, JSA / JHA

- Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, Gas Testing, H2S & LEL controls

- SIMOPS, Line of Fire, Exclusion Zones

- Emergency Response and Spill Response

- Cold cutting safety; heavy lifting, material handling and mobile equipment safety

4) Senior CAD / BIM Technical Draftsman

- Advanced AutoCAD skills

- Site Layouts, Method Drawings, Piping Removal Drawings

- Lifting & Rigging Plans, Equipment Layouts, Sections & Details

- Construction Sequence Drawings

- Ability to convert field surveys, photographs and engineering information into professional technical drawings

- Experience producing A1 / A2 / A3 drawings suitable for technical review and approval

Scope of Work

Method Statements, Work Sequence Drawings, Pipe Cold Cutting Plans, Piping Removal Plans, Isolation & LOTO Plans, Gas Testing Plans, Risk Assessments, JSA / JHA, Site Logistics Plans, Equipment Layouts, Lifting Plans, Rigging Drawings, Crane Studies, Pipe Handling Plans, Flatbed Loading Plans, Exclusion Zone Drawings, Emergency Response Drawings and HSE documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline (engineering positions)

- Preferably 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience

- Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and industrial project experience

- Experience in piping, decommissioning, plant shutdown and heavy lifting

- Strong engineering drawing interpretation skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software, depending on the position

- Strong technical English documentation skills

- Previous experience on Saudi Aramco or major Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects is a significant advantage

Preferred Certifications (depending on the position)

NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, Lifting & Rigging, Appointed Person, Lifting Supervisor, PTW, LOTO, H2S Awareness, Authorized Gas Tester. Equivalent internationally recognized certifications relevant to the position will also be considered.

Important Requirements

TGC is seeking professionals with genuine engineering and field experience, not graphic design experience only. Candidates must be able to translate actual site conditions into technically sound Method Statements, engineering drawings, lifting studies and HSE documentation suitable for professional review and approval.

Candidates are encouraged to submit samples of previous work (Method Drawings, Lift Plans, Rigging Plans, Site Layouts, Piping Drawings, industrial engineering drawings). All confidential client and project information must be removed or concealed.
