The QC Site Engineer for GFRC Cladding Installation is responsible for ensuring all GFRC panels, fixing systems, and installation activities comply with project specifications, approved shop drawings, QA/QC procedures, and consultant requirements. The role ensures full documentation, inspection readiness, and technical compliance throughout the installation cycle.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Control & Inspection
• Conduct daily inspections for GFRC installation, alignment, plumb, level, and fixing details.
• Verify panel dimensions, thickness, surface finish, and edge conditions before installation.
• Ensure compliance with approved MIR, WIR, ITR, and project QA/QC plans.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and follow up with consultant until approval.
• Monitor curing, repair works, patching, and finishing to ensure uniformity and acceptance.
2. Technical Compliance
• Review and verify installation drawings, fixing details, bracket types, anchor locations, and load calculations.
• Ensure installation follows approved method statements, safety procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Coordinate with design/technical team for any discrepancies or required clarifications (RFI).
3. Site Coordination
• Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, crane operators, and subcontractors to ensure smooth installation workflow.
• Verify access, scaffold readiness, lifting plans, and panel handling procedures.
• Ensure panels are stored, protected, and handled according to QA/QC standards.
4. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily QC logs, inspection records, NCRs, CARs, and closure reports.
• Prepare weekly quality reports highlighting progress, issues, and corrective actions.
• Document all deviations, damages, and rejections with photos and technical notes.
5. Non Conformance & Corrective Actions
• Identify non conforming works and issue NCRs when required.
• Follow up corrective actions with installation teams and ensure closure with consultant approval.
• Ensure rejected panels are segregated, tagged, and re inspected after repair.
6. Health, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all installation activities comply with HSE requirements, lifting plans, and safe working procedures.
• Verify use of PPE, safe access, and proper handling of GFRC panels.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in GFRC installation or façade QC.
• Strong knowledge of GFRC materials, fixing systems, brackets, anchors, and installation tolerances.
• Experience with QA/QC documentation, MIR/WIR, NCR, and consultant coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and structural details.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure on fast track projects.

- Candidate must be available in Saudi Arabia with transferable iqama
