JOB VACANCY – ELECTRICAL QC ENGINEER
Hamad Al Alaiwi & Partners Contracting Co. Ltd. (HAPCO) is looking for an experienced Electrical QC Engineer to join our team for our Makkah Project.
Position: Electrical QC Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor the project Quality Control Plan (QCP/ITP) for electrical works.
Inspect electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
Conduct inspections and prepare Inspection Requests (IRs) and related QC documentation.
Review electrical materials, equipment, and installation activities for compliance with project requirements.
Coordinate with the construction team, consultants, and client representatives regarding inspections and quality issues.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, checklists, test reports, and inspection records.
Monitor testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper documentation.
Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
Ensure all electrical works comply with approved method statements, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Electrical QA/QC.
Experience in construction projects is required.
Strong knowledge of electrical installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
Familiarity with ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, and QA/QC documentation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Transferable Iqama / valid Saudi work status preferred.
Candidates with Makkah project experience will be considered an advantage.
