Civil QC

Job description

Responsible for inspecting civil and structural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable Saudi Aramco requirements and the project quality plan. Key Responsibilities - Inspect excavation, backfilling, soil compaction and foundation works. - Check reinforcement, formwork, concrete cover, embedded items and anchor bolts before concrete placement. - Monitor concrete pouring, slump and temperature checks, sampling, curing and concrete test results. - Inspect structural concrete, grouting, masonry, waterproofing, paving and finishing works. - Verify material approvals, delivery records, certificates and laboratory test reports. - Raise Requests for Inspection (RFIs) and coordinate inspections with the client and construction team. - Follow approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), inspection checklists and method statements. - Identify nonconforming work, issue NCRs and verify corrective actions. - Maintain inspection records, daily quality reports and handover documentation. - Coordinate with surveyors to verify levels, alignment and dimensions.
