Job Vacancy: Senior Project Engineer – Shutdown Projects
Salary: SAR 6,500–8,500 per month
Working Hours: 10 hours per day, 6 days per week
Qualification: B.E. / DAE in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical Engineering
Experience: 10–12 years
Job Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience, including 5–7 years in maintenance and shutdown projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 5 years of Gulf experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia with SABIC or Saudi Aramco projects.
Hands-on experience in maintenance, shutdown, and cleaning activities involving heat exchangers, columns, vessels, and other industrial equipment.
Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, contract management, cost control, and resource allocation.
Proven ability to manage multiple maintenance and shutdown activities simultaneously and coordinate different project teams.
Excellent manpower, equipment, tools, and material management skills.
Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Good negotiation, client coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Oil & Gas and petrochemical industry standards, particularly those followed by SABIC and Saudi Aramco.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance and shutdown activities in accordance with project schedules and client requirements.
Supervise project teams and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, tools, and materials.
Monitor project progress, productivity, costs, and schedules to ensure timely completion.
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments to resolve technical and operational issues.
Ensure compliance with client specifications, quality requirements, and HSE standards.
Manage shutdown activities involving heat exchangers, columns, vessels, and related plant equipment.
Prepare progress reports and coordinate daily activities to achieve project targets.
Maintain effective client relationships and ensure smooth execution of all assigned activities.
