### Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced **Safety Officer (HSE)** for a gas plant construction project in Jafurah, Saudi Arabia. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE policies, ensuring safe site operations, conducting inspections, and maintaining compliance with Saudi Aramco safety standards and project requirements.

### Key Responsibilities

- Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and site safety regulations.

- Conduct daily site safety inspections, toolbox talks, and safety awareness sessions.

- Monitor high-risk activities, including excavation, confined space entry, lifting operations, hot work, and working at heights.

- Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Construction Safety Manual (CSM) and applicable project HSE requirements.

- Monitor Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Risk Assessment procedures.

- Inspect PPE, scaffolding, lifting equipment, tools, and construction machinery.

- Monitor gas testing requirements and H2S safety precautions in hazardous areas.

- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and implement corrective actions.

- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices and prepare HSE reports.

- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client HSE representatives.

- Conduct emergency response drills and ensure fire prevention and emergency preparedness.

- Maintain daily safety reports, inspection checklists, and HSE documentation.

### Qualifications & Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- **Minimum 5–8 years of HSE experience**, preferably in oil and gas or gas plant construction projects.

- Previous experience on Saudi Aramco projects is highly preferred.

- NEBOSH IGC certification preferred; IOSH or OSHA certification is an advantage.

- Saudi Aramco approval or relevant project-specific HSE approval is a strong advantage.

- Good knowledge of PTW, JSA, H2S, confined space safety, lifting operations, and emergency response procedures.

- Familiarity with Saudi Aramco HSE standards and construction safety requirements.

- Strong communication, reporting, and site coordination skills.

- Good command of English.

- Candidates with previous gas plant, refinery, or petrochemical project experience will be preferred.

### Preferred Candidate

- Currently available in Saudi Arabia.

- Experienced in Saudi Aramco oil and gas construction projects.

- Available to join immediately or on short notice.

- Willing to work at the Jafurah Gas Plant project site.
